Compare Irish Print Prices, Side by Side
Every figure on these pages is a live "starting from" price published by the named competitor on their own Irish website, recorded with the source URL and the date it was verified (2026-04-21). Nothing is estimated, and where a competitor is cheaper we leave the figure in place.
What actually drives the price difference in Irish printing
Paper weight is the first variable: a 400gsm business card and a 300gsm business card can differ by 30% in cost and are advertised with the same two words. Finishing is the second — matt lamination, soft-touch, spot UV and rounded corners are each a separate pass through a machine. Quantity break is the third, and it is where headline pricing is usually set: an advertised "from" price almost always refers to the largest run, not the 250-unit order most small Irish businesses actually place. Delivery is the fourth, and cross-channel suppliers frequently recover their discount there. Printhouse.ie delivery is a flat €7 nationwide and free over €150 ex VAT.
Printhouse.ie prints in Gorey, Co. Wexford on our own Heidelberg litho and Roland TrueVIS wide-format kit, with no brokered outwork. On very large commodity runs a high-volume European plant can beat us on unit cost; on short Irish runs, signage, and anything needing a human to check the file before it goes on press, the in-house route is usually both faster and cheaper.

Frequently asked questions — print price comparison
How are these comparisons put together?
Each competitor figure is the lowest publicly advertised "from" price for the closest equivalent specification on that company's own Irish website, recorded with the source URL and check date. We do not use quoted prices, negotiated rates or promo codes, because those are not repeatable for a customer ordering cold.
Why don't the specifications always match exactly?
Because no two printers sell an identical product. A 400gsm matt laminated card at one supplier may be 350gsm unlaminated at another. Where the closest available spec differs, we say so on the individual comparison page rather than pretending it is like for like.
Do the compared prices include VAT and delivery?
Prices are compared on the same basis the competitor publishes them, usually excluding delivery. Irish VAT at 23% applies to both sides, and our delivery is €7 flat or free over €150.
Is Printhouse.ie always the cheapest?
No, and we do not claim to be. On very high-volume commodity runs, large cross-channel operations can undercut us. Where we consistently win is short and medium Irish runs, signage and finishing work, and jobs that need someone to look at the file before it prints.
